A. Introduction

MedFlash (https://www.med-flash.com) is an educational platform for preparation for the Israeli Ministry of Health licensing examination. By using the platform you enter into an agreement with its operator — Adam Tsitrin (private individual) — and accept these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). Please also read the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

If you do not agree to the Terms, please stop using the platform.

B. Service purpose

MedFlash provides study materials, questions, performance statistics and tools for independent preparation for the Israeli medical licensing examination. The platform is a supplementary educational tool and does not replace official materials, courses or clinical training.

C. Beta status

MedFlash is currently in beta. Errors, service interruptions and feature changes may occur without prior notice.

Access during the beta period is provided free of charge.
Free beta access does not create a right to perpetual free access.
MedFlash may introduce paid plans in the future. Users will not be automatically moved to a paid plan without prior notice and consent.
Before paid plans are introduced, payment and refund terms will be published and accepted separately.

D. Account

When registering you undertake to provide accurate and up-to-date information. One account is intended for one individual. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any actions performed from your account. Report any unauthorised access to us immediately.

MedFlash may suspend or block an account for violation of these Terms or a security threat.

E. Age requirements

MedFlash is intended for persons aged 18 and over. By registering you confirm that you have reached adulthood. The target audience is medical professionals and medical students preparing for the Israeli licensing examination.

F. Educational use

MedFlash is a supplementary educational tool. The platform is not an official examination body and does not guarantee passing the exam. The user bears full responsibility for compliance with the requirements of the Israeli Ministry of Health and the current licensing conditions.

G. Medical disclaimer

MedFlash is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. Content does not replace the clinical judgement of a licensed physician. Never use MedFlash materials to make treatment decisions for patients. See the Medical disclaimer for details.

H. Exam content

Historical exam materials may contain inaccuracies or outdated information.
The format and content of the exam may change. Official Ministry of Health sources always take precedence.
MedFlash does not guarantee that questions studied on the platform will appear in the actual exam.

I. AI-assisted explanations

Some explanations are generated or supplemented using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). AI may make factual errors or misinterpret medical data. Always verify critical information against authoritative clinical sources. AI explanations must not be used for clinical decision-making.

J. No official affiliation

MedFlash is an independent platform. It is not official, not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Israeli Ministry of Health, the Israel Medical Association (IMA) or any official licensing body.

K. User conduct

When using the platform it is prohibited to:

Gain unauthorised access to systems, data or accounts of other users.
Transfer, sell or rent account access to third parties.
Conduct automated data collection (parsing, scraping, bulk extraction).
Reproduce or distribute platform content for commercial purposes.
Attempt to circumvent security measures, technical controls or authorisation systems.
Use the platform for illegal purposes or to abuse the support service.

L. Patient and third-party data

It is strictly prohibited to enter, upload or transmit personal data of patients, medical records, confidential health information of third parties, identity documents, payment details or other confidential information belonging to others — especially in AI-explanation fields, support service screenshots or other text fields of the platform.

M. Intellectual property

MedFlash holds rights to the following elements of the platform:

Software code, design and interface of the platform.
Original explanations, annotations, taxonomy and databases created by MedFlash.
The 'MedFlash' trademark and brand identity.

The text of historical examination questions of official origin, as well as materials from third-party sources, belong to their respective rights holders. MedFlash does not claim ownership of official examination materials that do not belong to it.

N. Personal licence

MedFlash grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform solely for personal educational purposes. Any other use is prohibited without the written consent of MedFlash.

O. Service availability

MedFlash makes reasonable efforts to ensure platform availability, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may occur at any time. During the beta period, interruptions may occur more frequently.

P. Third-party services

The platform uses third-party services (Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Anthropic). MedFlash is not responsible for the availability, privacy policies or actions of these services. Links to external resources on the platform do not constitute endorsement.

Q. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Israeli law, MedFlash is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform. This limitation does not apply to cases of intentional harm or breaches of rights that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory consumer rights provided by Israeli law.

R. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify MedFlash for reasonable losses arising from your breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the platform. This obligation does not apply to situations caused by MedFlash's own fault.

S. Termination

MedFlash may suspend or terminate account access for breach of the Terms, a security threat or other justified reasons, with prior notice where possible. Suspension of access does not automatically delete personal data — see the data retention policy in the Privacy Policy.

T. Changes to these Terms

MedFlash may amend these Terms. For material changes we will notify registered users in advance by email or through the platform interface. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

U. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Israeli law. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Israel, subject to the mandatory rights applicable in the user's place of residence.

V. Copyright complaints

If you believe that any material infringes your copyright, contact support@med-flash.com, stating: the rights holder's details, description and location of the disputed material, and the basis of the claim. MedFlash reviews complaints in accordance with the Israeli Copyright Law (2007).
